> my w800's Key Pad is always lit up? help!
Bookmark topic
I just noticed that the 'Call', 'menu', 'walkman shortcut' , 'back' and 'cancel' buttons aswell as the joystick on my w800 are now always lit up instead of dimming and turining off if the fone becomes inactive,
i turned the phone off and the lights still stay on even if the phone is turned off!!
the only way to get the lights to turn off is to remove the battery!!
Any ideas on why and some solutions??
it is eating up my battery aswell!!
cheers

That's soooo cool!!! Must be a FW glitch. Re-flash the phone (but I'd keep it that way).

Battery life isn't going to be too good, is it.
Just like some one mentioned before, it's a f/w bug and needs re-flashing.

Try SEUS. If it still happens take it to a phone shop. Any shop will do as I doubt it's got warranty now.

@ricky - yes SEUS means the Sony Ericsson Update service.
I'm thinking it's a firmware problem too, an update might fix it. If not, you might have to do a full reflash using something like Wotanserver, which costs a few Euros to do, or XS++ which is free, but you'd have to locate the right flash files.
