i discovered a new problem tonight..
i was watching a film trailer on the phone, checked my calendar and messages then closed the flip and locked the keypad..
then the phone screen faded out to black (like normal) but then the backlight came on again and the keylock screen showed.. then the phone faded to black, then the backlight came on again...repeat repeat repeat repeat...
i think this was because the new firmware (10.04.07) was trying to shut down programmes but as i had the keylock on it couldn't do it so it got stuck in a loop...
i have smp installed but had not started it again after switching the phone back on this afternoon after a meeting...
sorry if this was mentioned elsewhere but i think it's a different backlight bug

I had the same problem yesterday.
it stopped after I ended all the applications with swissmanager.
