Lol what the hell?? Ok we have alot of rural areas in the country and thats what these little trailers are there for. They special public phones that the SP here setup, pretty much like the UK red phone boots.

if this is your idea of a joke then your jokes stink! we have proper cellphone shopz just like the UK, most of our cellphone shopz are in Shopping Malls or at a Networks Phone Shopping center e.g VODAWORLD!! i hope this thread gets deleted because its totaly misleading people and giving SOUTH AFRICA a bad image, what 786KBR said is correct, those public phones mainly found in townships and rural areas of our country

This was never meant as an insult to South Africans in any way, shape or form, it was purely to show that such odd and obscure phone shop alongside larger chain phones stores exist.
As may well be aware, I've always edveavored to highlight \"ANY\" weird and wonderful and even strange phone related News from around the planet, this happens to fit into the one of the above categories.
If such stores existed in the U.K i would be first to highlight it,shame we only have Phones4u which is the closest we get to a weird phone dealer,more corrupt than anything else.

Okay thanx,i understand, sorry about what i said earlier,its just that sometimes its as if people have this idea that SA is this backward country that is absolutely not advanced,AND yet its the exact opposite of that and i guess i thought you were making a joke about it,thats why i reacted the way i did sorry about that,i totaly mis-inturpreted what you said on your first post mate.
