My W810 +
this software + GPS

device... sounds intriguing! Anyone have experience?
Mobile GMaps is a FREE application that displays Google Maps, Yahoo! Maps, Windows Live Local (MSN Virtual Earth) and Ask.com Maps and satellite imagery on Java J2ME-enabled mobile phones, PDAs and other devices. MGMaps can connect to a GPS receiver over bluetooth or use internal GPS features on some phones in order to automatically display the map for your current position.

Trekbuddy supports offline map, but the learning curve will be rather steep compared to mgmaps as you need to create your own maps and deal with the calibration of them using software like oziexplorer, or convert already existing other gps' maps like those from garmin using program like GPSMapEdit. Some people in trekbuddy's forum have created java/javascript based solution to grab google map for usage in trekbuddy, but I haven't try them as google map doesn't have any detail street level map for my area. One nice feature of trekbuddy that mgmaps does not have yet is the capability to record tracklogs in nmea of gpx format to your internal / memory card.
I read that mgmaps will support offline maps in the near future, and if it also can record tracklog, it would be perfect
