Has anyone heard of money scams off the loot. I have items for sale on there an twice now someone asks to buy all my stock but the mails are in broken english. must be foreign. It says i will send you a cheque for 3500 pounds you take your money for the items and a courier will pick up the remaining money but they want it in cash form, plus he will pick up all my stock to. He wants my name, phone number and address. very strange. What can they do with my name and address details. Are they gonna send this so called cheque. Is big vern gonna come round and knee cap me?
does anyone know.

did you really need to ask if that is a scam?

just reading it having never heard of it before its clear its a scam

also googling it gives plenty of results for similar things in loot and elsewhere

Someone knocked on my door just now - I can see he's got a sawed-off shogun, wears a balaclava and holds a knife to my wife's throat... Should I call the cops or check with other esato members first in case they know him as a harmless guy??? Hmmm
