> P990 - only 61 Mb Ram?
Bookmark topic
After reading a few other threads, I checked my phone's ram:
Swiss Man says 61 MB
Sman says 62464 kB
Everyone else say 64 MB is normal. (unless this has already been discussed!)
Is this the firmware, or my phone, or normal?

there are 3MB of ROM. And these are NOT available for storage and usage.
The numbers reported (61MB) are RAM, and these are available for storage and usage.
So that totals to 64 MBs.

The RAM is NOT available for storage. The internal disk (C:) is separate from the RAM, they only happen to be of the same size. At least that's what everyone else says, and you don't get more free RAM by cleaning up C:...

True. Ma bad. RAM, as always, can only be used by the internal processes. NOT for storage.
