Hello,
When trying to clean inside my k800i for the first time, I carefully took the housing off and put it back together. However, the TINY switch that is activated when the lens cover retracts, must have gotten bumped, because the little arm came out and looks like it had snapped in half. So now I have to replace that assembly (see attached photo, with that switch circled).
I haven't been able to find a walk-through online that shows how to replace, or at least carefully remove and reassemble, this part. Before I do any more damage, I was hoping that someone comfortable with this process might be kind enough to help me.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
PS. For some reason, I also now have a "spot" on my camera lens that shows up in my viewfinder and in my photos. The lens is absolutely clean, too. I had this with my K750 (in the same spot!) and wondered if anyone might know why. I think it also may have showed up after cleaning the housing in my K750, too.
