Works great for me. Be very careful not to let the battery discharge 100% - USB can't recover on some handsets.

Otherwise USB works fine - however, you need to set up the handset drivers on your PC first - since the handset will not charge unless the drivers are installed.

i think it does not matter. if it wouldnt be good to chage via USB, it wouldnt be good to transfer files via USB.

Maybe if you had a very "dodgy" pc??? Anyhow, For a year+ I mostly charged my k750 via usb, no problems!

I have to charge my K800i via the USB cable due to some slight moisture damage, which it does fine, though it won't charge the phone above 92-93% but I've had no problems so far.
