I bought a 1GB memory car from flea bay for my w810i. the card is Sony branded and looks to be new.
it worked fine for a week but now my w810i doesn't recognise the card ???
I tried the card in a friends SE phone (not sure model) and the card worked fine.
My phone is working fine with the original 512mb card.

turn off then on the fone, lets see what happens. next to it, format the mem card and give it a new try in w810

try to remove the card and reinsert it again... maybe you bought a fake mem card? coming from "flea bay".. its a possibility..

format your card thru the pc, then try if it gets recognized by the phone.

@en - See if you can borrow a different 1GB from a friend and TEST it in your fone . . . I would suggest that you get a Sandisk-brand instead. Good Luck !

Try formating the card with your phone if yov can. There were some similar problems with the k750 that havn older firmware too. So if you are sure that the card is ok try updating your phone vi SEUS. Maybe firmware update can solve your problem.

Download the memory stick formatter program for your PC from Sony's website.

if it works with original 512 card, and i saw w810 with 2gb, then surely it's the card, no need to test with another 1gb card

@anti - Yeah I know it works even with a 2 GB dude . . . but what I mean to say there is perhaps he got a faulty SONY 1 GB one and his friend might have a 1 GB - SANDISK . . . if it will work then he better get a 1 GB Sandisk then, not a Sony. I am assuming that he ended up with a corrupted card here

Is is possible that the card might be fake or an imitation of a Sony MS? Those cards are usually not durable... just maybe..
