Vodafone won't want an EDGE phone for Europe! Besides, as someone pointed out in another thread, there's a small matter of who will sell the music downloads - Apple or VodafoneLive! ?

And SE have multiple deals with Vodafone, so do Nokia, Moto, etc all connecting to Network Operator content. I'll bet they'll exert some pressure to keep Apple out of Europe.
