is there any techniques or software available to rotate the video 90 degrees and use the full screen on the z710i? I can encode it sideways but im still limited to the video area

Afaik, you can only do that with the pics only on this phone. K750? W800. W810. Etc can do it.

ok I managed to get the w710 software onto my phone dont know if theres much difference but it looks pretty cool. however it still doesnt seem to play video in landscape mode. WOuld the W810 be compatible? if not would it be possible to download an individual program like the video player so it can do landscape?
or are there any 3rd party video players for phones that would be compatible?

W710 does not have this feature neither. And you cannot install w810 firmware on your phone.
