how good is it?

have you tried it - if yes, did you like it?

if you have it - do you like it more than a regular keypad for texting?

its brilliant and what keeps me using the M600.

As a software developer I am bashing the full size keyboard 8 or more hours a day (not to mention Esatro time!) and it took a couple of days to scale my fingers down to the M600 size but I have never been able to type faster or more accurately on any phone like I can on M600

not a nightmare with me but very different to use than other phones.
I got that phone sine 3 weeks and i have already some difficulties to use it with T9 but not enough to hate it.

Compared to a "normal" phone keypad it is much much better. I haven't use a "full keypad" like with the Nokia E61 or Blackberrys though ( but these are much bigger, so no use for me).
I own a M600i and am very happy with it, it's possible to write notes on the go, which was much to unpractical with my old phone...

@darkwave: I switched off the T9 for that reason, it confused me and I never really use the features it provides. Without T9 the keyboard is really nice to use.

yeah, I couldn't get on with that W950 keypad at all. It always felt like you had to press in the wrong place to get the character you wanted

@tty56 : Yes I tuned it off and with that keyboard the T9 is less important on its utililty.

It's fantastic! Much better than any other keypad i've used. I can type e-mails extremely fast and can even do it with my eyes closed (this is not an exaggeration, try it!). This is one of the reasons the p700 looks like the perfect phone. The word prediction works really well too. The buttons are also very soft. The most user friendly keypad ever created imo. It did take me about a week to get used to though.
