I'm trying to uninstall a game from my computer but I keep running into the same error, which then means that I cannot go ahead with removing the game from my computer; I get the following two error messages...
I've tried doing what it asks me to do but to no avail, this being the first time I've encountered this problem I'm not sure of how to solve it.
Thanks for any help.

Instead of running Uninstall Shield or whatever, delete the actual files from the program files folder.

Ok, and that will take everything off the computer just the same as an uninstall? How about the program still appearing in Add/Remove Programs then, as that will still be there if I'm right...?

Try going into regedit and deleting everything with the named game/file from there (thats what I've had to do in the past with a similar problem).

I think it will stay in add/remove programs but the delete will free up HDD space if that's why you're getting rid of it.
EDIT:
@joebmc
Deleting from the registry is more risky compared to deleting from the program files folder.

Ok thanks guys...
I deleted the directory and used Regcleaner in the end which worked a charm, it's a shame it'll only do the first 59 or so problems it finds before you have to pay because it would have been so useful to me since it found 300+ problems lol, but it did the job I initially wanted it to do so that's good.

Deleting from the registry is more risky compared to deleting from the pregram files folder.

I'll bear that on mind next time i go fiddling around with the registry. Guess you can only learn from your mistakes

If anyone knows of any free programs that do more or less the same thing RegClean does then please say, as it would be very useful to me to have a program of this sort...

@Xugaa, try this nifty freeware program called
CCleaner, I've used it for quite sometime now and it's really easy to use. My notebook still runs very smoothly even though it's been a long time since I last re-formatted it. I guess this is due in part to CCleaner.
