hi all,

Nokia N95 have built-in GPS and glufiish(which working on windows mobile) also have GPS, so I am waiting now the next P-series which will have builtin GPS I think.

Regarding the Camera, N95 have 5 MP camera but I think its not very clear like K800i camera, so I am waiting also the new 3.2 MP camera.

what do u think???

built in GPS makes the fone look very bulky, I think it would be good tho because it can compete with the N95 because It doesnt have a touchscreen, however I believe it is much more practical If you were to simply buy a GPS reciever, reduces the bulk on the fone, I mean look at how chunky the N95 is!!

Have you seen the N95? it is not chunky at all.

Indeed here are a few size comparisons I have posted lately...

lets start with the comparison with the P990...

and then move onto some of the smaller SE's...

etc etc

so it would seem having a GPS built in is not much of a detriment to its size

Next P series will not have GPS.
Confirmed on the P700i.

altho just a thought...is p700 the only smartphone SE are coming up with this year? as p700...seems like a lower number to p990...so there may be a higher spec one somewhere down the line!

could be, hope release a similar phone to the P700i with GPS.

It would make a complete package, for me anyway.

look at the N95 its not bulky at all, small sized with GPS but the problem with me that I hate Nokia , so I will wait the next P-series after P700

then looking at the images I posted, how do you classify the P990? surely that is the definitive brick!

and actually the N95 is smaller than the K800 in 2 of the three dimensions. its is only on bit wider but offers so much more for its size, including gps which is the point of this thread

I just don't get how people can call the N95 bulky? sure I was skeptical and only got the N95 due to hype, but when you hold it in your hand it fits very nicely, really, and I wonder how long before SE can really compete with products such as this

I have to agree with you masseur,

i am a true fan through and through but nokia are moving light years ahead at the moment!

It's only my love for keeping me at the moment, but i really want a unit with GPS built in! I turned down an O2 orbit in favour of the W950i and even could have got an N95 instead of my K800i.

But i can't continue like this! come on breakthrough before i become a hypocrite! and buy another nokia!
