Yes, as I'm known as the guy who fixes phones @ school....my good friend showed me her z520 when this happened. I didn't know how to fix it without having parts, and then it would be a pretty much guess for how to take it apart etc.. I just recommended her to take it into the Vodafone store where she bought it as it was within the year warranty (2 years within EU I think...) and I don't know whether they fixed it or not...but that was about 5 months ago or something... and I think she's got a new phone recently....so she may have just been using an old one.... don't know exactly what you can do - but try taking it into the store where you got it (if you can...) and then see what they say - it's something to do with the connector from the screen to the phone though at a good guess.
