Hi. After using my w800 for quite a long time, I am planning to get a new phone. I like a smartphone which has good camera, firmware, good sound and touchscreen. Actually I have seent all SE symbian phones, and now I am confused. I like the P990 (as the 2 mp camera is great for my needs) and the new P700 that will be anounced at 8th of may this year. So I REALLY don't know what to get now. What do you think, is it worth to get the P990 now, or wait for the P700?

the "p700" wont be out for months if even this year! So i wouldn't bother waiting for it! I waited a year for the p990 and missed out on a free upgrade because it was delayed again and again!

@ Adz21 how do you know it wont be released this year...SE could do the unthinkable (like they did with the W880) and release a few weeks after announcing it....

Wait for the May 8th announcement at least, it should give some realistic timescale for the P700. It's launch can't be compared to the P990's - that was massive change from UIQ2 to UIQ3 in its most complex (and troubled) form, whereas the P990 to P700 transition is a much more evolutionary affair - more like the step from P800 to P900, which took just a year from the P800's release.
Bear in mind that live examples of the P700 are already in use in the wild, and all the reports so far are of a very polished, well featured, stable phone - not an early prototype.
