Sony Ericsson has discontinued the K750i and W710i.
This means that if you want one of these you should get it now
W710i didn't get a long life like the K750i did. Poor thing, it was a nice phone

these product discontinuation notices are always better accepted when linked with some official source so please consider posting where this info comes from

Got it in a mail from one of our suppliers, so i don't have anything to provide other than the text from the mail in norwegian..
"Nyhetsmail fra Dangaard: Sonyericsson K750i og W710i Utgår
Vi sluttselger nå K750i og W710i. De er utgått og kan ikke skaffes lenger."

so this could be regional, perhaps?, as K750 is still certainly selling well in other regions even now so we heard in another thread today

Looking at the top prepay charts for phones on the Mobile Today website, the K750i is still often near the top of that chart, I'd be surprised if they did discontinue it - Moto's V3 is still going strong!

I think that K750i is one of the best selling if it's not the best selling SE phone ever. I can't belive that after two years, K750i is still one of the most wanted phones, and sad but true, one of the best phones out there. Only two things that K750i really lacks are real Xenon Flash and A2DP bluetooth profile. So in my opinion SE shouldn't discontinue K750i.

It's an old phone, so even if it still sells, they should make room for newer models at the factories

Was the Z710/W710 really such a hit? I didn't think so. Not surprised to see it go, if this news is true.

should stop making clamshell phones. It just isn't their bag.
