Do anyone who have K550i have zooming problem.
My phone does not support zooming in 2mp and 1mp mode but zooming can be done in VGA mode and in video mode.
It gives a message that zooming not supported in this mode.
I want to confirm whether it is a software problem or the phone does not feature Zooming in 1 MP and 2 MP mode.

It's a 'feature' I'm afraid, many phones lately, my W850i won't zoom in 1/2mp mode either

This has been implemented since the latest k750s. Btw, this is not a problem.

This "option" started to live when the first CID49 K750 were released and is present till today.

not from the first ones, because i have a CID49 and didn't give me that problem.

try to change the camdrivers if you want zoom
use kriomag's or chengrong's.... those 2 are the best camdriver developers so far for our phones.

Why do you want to zoom? Just take a 2 mpx shot and zoom in the file manager...

That's odd... I can zoom in 2MP mode with my K610i. I never thought SE would integrate a Cybershot in K550i but won't have a zoom feature in that mode. Maybe you can try using a different driver first.

agree with charge, why zoom when you can just do it manually. the image quality won't differ by much anyways.
