> Phone with most readable display?

my missus is going to be needing a new phone soon and has asked me to find one that
is not expensive
does not have lots of bells and whistles.
has bluetooth for car hands free
is not large
but most importantly has a good readable display without her reading glasses.
The last phone that satisfied this criteria was her pink V3 as it has a pretty good display. and possibly thats what we'll get again, but is there any suggestion better than that?

How about one of the new samsungs? Such as the z720 or d840 they have large display with large numbers on the screen?

I just remembered she had a D500 before the V3 so if they compare with that then she will be happy. the D840 looks interesting as she does prefer the slide to the flip

I agree with superluminova . . . SAMSUNG has the BEST - LCD display at present (and even back then . . .). Well, how about the D600
(if it is still available in the market)
The latest Samsung fones (well majority) are too bulky

E900 has a beautiful screen and is quite cheap.
