First i use to connect my phone through PC suite to transfer stuff, but now i realized my phone has an option to use the memory card as a mass storage device. When i select that option, my card is shown as a removable device. This feature doesn't require any phone drivers to be installed on the PC.

Better late than never - but did you never notice the window opening, windows asking what to do??? you can drag files straight into phone folders etc etc... handy in public places where you cannot just instal pc-suite!!
hope you enjoy the new-found freedom
(@boba, when you connect usb to pc in data mode instead of pc-suite, windows explorer will open... you can then "explore" phone content, copy stuff to pc...or copy files to phone, drag and drop... Don't need pc-suite for that!!!)

K800 is the same, all SE have drivers in the phone already.

i prefer the card reader, cable is complicated. i just store all the things on mem card, if its a must, i move things in the fone.

Hi all,

Well to be honest i always use the PC Suite and as each new version arrives IMO it just gets better. Even the old version worked under Vista for me and the new versions is even better compared to other PC Suites the Nokia version is very fast and stable in my experience of it.
