Finally you can now send and receive text messages from Japan, ok it could be done with Vodafone Japan(Softbank) but the likes of DOCOMO did not allow this, now they have enabled it thats pretty cool. Plus roaming as well and the use of sim cards so who knows if the hackers might be able to crack open some Jap phones for our personal use....

Just and update you can now also make video calls to Japanese phones

THey had sim cards before but stopped selling them because alot of illegal activity was going on and people were buying sims, then ditching them.
Good to see I can send texts now though. I'll need to test that.

Amnesia I meant sim cards in docomo phones that has not been possible but now with the introduction of the htc tytn and moto razr in there range this works out a treat. They is even an offer if you roamin and your phone doesnt work in Japan you can pop your sim into one of the rental phones il find the link later.

yes I understood that. Docomo had sim cards some years ago but stopped selling them and stopped support.
