Anyone know if its easy to fix and if they will be able to? The woman i spoke to on the phone was useless and didnt have a clue!

Im not going to have a laptop for a week or two which makes things even worse! Glad i gots my p990!

LCD looks like it either leaked or the crystal has shifted away. A new LCD panel is the only option. Have it done by Toshiba though, that way you know the LCD will be covered if there are any faults with the fix.

I took out a 5 year cover plan for £250 when i bought it.So i wont have to pay a penny! Well worth the money! I just hope i dont get a shitty screen in it, this ones top! well it was before i broke it

So be carefull with your laptops people! Or this will happen to you one day!

I had a similar problem a while ago. I sent it off to the repair-centre, and they fitted a new LCD. It was covered under insurance, otherwise it would have cost me nearly £300 as far as I remember.
