What would happen if when your phone like say a w850i is plugged into your pc and you open it up to transfer files and it has a few folders example: music DCIM , video , picture theme other , etc , but what would happen if your renamed one of the folders would it stay renamed on the phone or what if you created a folder would it show it on the phone in file manager ???

Try it. As far as I know the phone will not see that folder when using the phones browser and will creat the appropriate folder.

i've renamed some of the files and folders, nothing has changed except the name, nothing is wrong. It takes so much longer doing it on the phone.
