The phone actually blocks the ir on the receiver.
However, the music sounds great.

Actually looks quite cool on its side.... Though a big design fault by SE putting the fastport connector on the side on the W880i/K550i/W610i. Renders some accessories already available for SE's useless.

however W550 would be better as you can swing the display, unlike W900 which have auto-open suspension...
P990 with MDS70 will be a good match i suppose....

There is one advantage of this design, I can watch video sideways.

Using the MDS-70 with a P990 causes another problem... The weight of the P990 causes the connector to be hanging and disconnect easily.

Wow... actually, standing up the speakers on its side works quite well and I could use the menu properly.

The MDS-70 sounds great, I actually use them as my primary PC speakers. They are just loud.

And yes, it does have a woofer.
