Hello

Is there a way to restore all the files that was on the phone when you bought it, if you delete some of them? Something like a reset feature that restore it back to the condition it was when you bought it. The phone I could need it for is a SE W610i.

Ok, but is there a way you can make a backup and then restore it back to that later? Or to reflash the firmware yourself.

You can backup your contacts to your memory card and restore them from that. Maybe the calendar as well. Not the files like themes and music though. You can re-flash your phone with original firmware at a paid service like DaVinci Team or Wotan Server, but that's it. The other possibility is to hunt down each thing you deleted on sites like this or some other free site.

a master reset restores your phone back to factory settings, and might delete some files that came with the phone out of the box. the best solution would be to copy these contents (themes, ringtones, pictures) into a memory card before doing the reset.

firmware flashing however, would not erase your data if using SEUS which is free.

do you mean you want to restore your phone to factory settings, or have you done a master reset and lost some files? you can find them somewhere, try a search for 'phone model' 'original content'...

Well, isn't there any way to take a backup of those files either? I can't see them when I browse through the phone from the PC though...

the files that you can't see are those that came preinstalled with your phone. the only way to work through this is to copy them to a memory card if you're afraid of losing them. however, i think that these files won't be deleted even if you do a master reset. no guarantees tho'...
