well we all know that any serious laptop user has a laptop mouse as well. that means one more thing in your bag...

so how long do you think it will take the mobile phone producers to start implementing optical sensors to their cell phones, so they could be used as a mouse?

that would be very funny...
but who knows, maybe i should have patented my idea

Using your phone as a mouse via blue-tooth has been around for a while now, OK it doesn't have optical sensors but it still works!

i know ive been using my old sony ericsson t630 for that... but i was thinking more like a real optical (or laser) mouse, but with phone functions

or maybe a phone, but with a real mouse abilities (like: much better than a touchpad)

good idea, I sometimes mistake my phone for a mouse when they are lying close to each other on my desk

@mobile - Good thing that you did NOT do the other way around . . . hold the mouse beside your EAR and start calling people !

wow,thats really cool,just he should make the buttons work.IMO the phone has to be held upside down and the # should be the left mouse key,the * should be the right mouse key and 0 and 8 may be made up/down scrolling keys...Thats DEFINITELY cool!
