1. I have recently purchased a w850i about three months ago locked on the vodafone network, and this may sound dumb to some of you out there who know a lot more about phones than i do, but under the branding plate or surface just under the D pad where the netwrok name is shown if i was to take this off would the walkman logo or name be under it or do they remove it to put the branding on?

In the future i think i will have the phone unlocked and i would want it debranded as well.

2. Another question, the two lower buttons underneath the 'back button' and the 'delete button', which are hung up and pick up on branded phones but internet and task menu on unbranded phones, if i was to get the phone unlocked would i be able to change the uses of these buttons, ( from pick up and hang up to internet and task menu ). As i really do not use them as i am really used to using the soft keys for this use, after owning a K750i.

Hope i haven't confused anyone, thanks in advance for any help.

Rob

these phones can be unlocked by vodafone, or you can pay 50 euros and do it yourself with davinciteam.

to get rid of the call/hang up buttons, you will need to get the phone debranded. davinciteam can also debrand the phone as well.

i have never used davinciteam, but i have debranded a w810i with wotanserver. wotanserver cannot unlock phones.
