i bought a w810i t-mobile branded from ebay and i havent got it yet, i was just wondering if the shortcut button on the right below right softkey is still the shortcut button or did they change it like orange, or vodafone do with k800i

Most of the earlier models where configured to t-zones but recently they have said menu instead-so I guess it will be a case of wait and are mate :o)

You mean the activity menu key? Dont think it will be a link to anything other than the activity menu, had a K800i on T-Mobile and that did'nt link to anything else...

ok thanks i dont think on models newer than k700i they reprogramed the right softkey, and well it doesnt matter cos im gonna debrand i just didnt want a different symbol on the activity menu button and have to buy a new keypad :S

It is this way on Cingular. One more reason unlocked/unbranded phones are well worth the added expense.
