got another problem now LOL
i want to transfer some jpeg pics to my w810i
This is what i did......
put the memory card in my pc's card reader and dropped some jpeg pics onto it. they jpegs are showing up on the card whilst the card is in the pc. however when i put the card into the phone the jpegs are not showing up. a friend suggests its because the phone is Vodafone branded!!! is this the case? if so is there any way of getting my pics on to the phone?
im using a Sony 512mb card that was supplied with the phone.

Did you drop the .jpegs into the correct folder on the card? Perhaps they're on the card but the phone simply doesn't know where to look for them.

yes i should have saved them to images. Sorry you have to excuse me im new to all of this stuff

no need for excuses. once the same happaned to me, when i just stored tons of music on the mem stick, but it wasnt shown. so i had to do it again and store those to the right place.

As images in jpeg-format should easily be seen in almost ALL colored-fones at present
At times I am havin' problems with the messages alert tones that I put in my fone's memory card and videos too . . . but not with the pics
try formatting the card first with your fone . . . if symptoms still persist, I think the card has a problem here . . . Good Luck !

files must be stored in the correct place. otherwise the files will be stored as if they were stored in a flash memory.
