hey guys. Had a p900 screen top part cracked.. Changed it with a new one.. now the p900 screen works but only without the light.. Like no light .. its like some1 switched off lights from the control panel.. i noticed a little slit on the screen cable connecting to mother board.. very little.. dunno if something to do with my problem.. and yeah .. the old screen has the top part the glass thing cracked.. can i change it with the new one.. but one more probs.. the old screen cable also has slit in it... a long one now... doesnt even work now.. plz find some solution.. or i hav to live with a p900 in darkness all my life.. dont want to waste money on new lcd..

Sounds like if there is a nick in the screen ribbon this could be causing the problem, if it came like this you could return the screen for a refund or replacement?

i tink dint make the situation clear..
1. had a p900 screen cracked by dropping it..
2. replaced the cracked screen (only the top glass part cracked) i dunno wts it called the lcd mayb.. yeah. replaced this with a new screen
3. opened the fone many times.. new screen cable got a slit.. no light .. display working touch screen working.
4. tryed the old screen.. light is working.. touch screen not and wont..
5. got the old screen cable torn while changing..
6.. any way i can replace new screen lcd glass part with old screen or fix it..
