In short: in a P990i when I set the phone in "File Mode", I use it to transfers docs, music and pictures and when I reverse it in phone mode and disconnect the phone from the PC, I find all my programs scrambled in Tools folder rather than in the folders I've assigned them to.
I have more than 30 programs assigned to various folders as Entertainment, Tools, Phone, etc and I am tired to re-assigned them daily!
Any solution to that from ppl knowing what am I talking about? And , please, don't give me advice like "update your software" or other various hilarious answersThanks,

I never said I was a newbie at this: SM Pro and Level 3 has nothing t do with the problem I've posted above.

@701

I've got the same problem. Annoying. I use to remove the Mem'card for transferring data. When I put it in again I have to rearrange my apps.

Maybe next FW update?......

only a reboot will do and "magically" move the files to their folders. ATM.

OR as I said a SMP level 3 reclaim will move them back (not cause the problem!).

true. It works without restarting. thx for the info.
so I guess it's the Main application that fails to re-read, if I may say so, the folder assignments. since the level 3 closes the Main app, next time it restarts, it will be able to read and assign the files to their proper destination folders.

Level 3's no good for me. From what I've seen I can't keep my apps opened ( Magic Message filter for example) and because it closes down everything, my main apps start laggy taking at least 3-4 seconds to open. I'll keep Level 2 and reboot the phone, it's simpler this way. Thanks, ppl!
