Hi There,
My camera on my K750i has been playing up - Sometimes it would take photos and other times it would focus, but wouldn't actually take the photo.
I checked on the net and one of the suggestions was to do a reset - I tried the reset settings option and now my phone no longer works.
When I turn it on, the screen flashes white and then continues to flash on/off every second.
I have tried to do a firmware upgrade. It recognised the phone but it fails at 90%.
Any suggestions to get it working again.

Thanks for the response. I have read the post - not too sure it is the same problem but I appreciate the advice on the warranty.
I have checked the SE website and I think I have a 2 year warranty on the K750i - the phone is about 16mths old, so I should be able to get repaired free.
Will they know I tried to reflash (after the problem occured) ?
Any advice ?

possibly they won't because they may try to flash it first to repair it, in which case they will never know.
A master reset is a 100% safe thing to do (and doesn't affect warranty) and the fact it failed after a master reset strongly points to a hardware problem.
I'd say as long as you don't mention the flashing you should be fine. Just tell them what happened after the master reset.

I confirmed I had a 2 year warranty, and I contacted Vodafone who said I should return it via them for repair (not SE).
Incidentally, when I took it to one of their shops to be sent off, they advised I could try reflashing the phone to see if it started to work again -- I asked if this would invalidate the warranty, and they said 'no'.
Anyway the phone is currently being repaired, and I will hopefully get it back Tuesday/Wedensday.

Phone returned, appears to be working. It has a software reload which fixed the problem and they also included a new battery when it was returned.

depends what they mean by "flashing". If they mean SEUS, then no it doesn't invalidate warranty. If they mean "fried your EROM by flashing the wrong firmware to the phone" then I doubt it would be covered
But good news on the repair!

Changes to the phone -- the software version is R1CA021, but I am sure it already had this version on it. No other changes noted.
