> p990 speaker problem help

i received my new p990 on upgrade about 2 months ago but just the other day noticed my rear speaker stopped working(ring tone,msg alert,mp3 etc) I dont recall dropping it or doing anything to damage it, i also havn't upgraded my firmware. I ran a speaker test in the service menu, but heard nothing. Any ideas? or has anyone had this problem before?
