Does anyone know the difference between the DCU-60 and DCU-65 USB Cable?
Seems the DCU-65 is being supplied with more recent phones, but I've heard of syncing and file transfer problems with it.

Sony Ericsson's site has nothing about the DCU-65, except to list it as a supplied cable with some phones.
Anyone know anything about this?
Cheers!

I haven't used it so much, but my brother has never complained when he borrows it to transfer music to his phone.
It's shorter than DCU-60, and look much cooler:)

the DCU 65 that came with my k810 sucked, i was only able to connect the phone cia USB once and after that it went all bad.
DCU 65 has some sort of a plastic attachment(called RF choke), i did not know what its purpose was but i used to work in a company which produced ADSL modems and one of the technicians told me it reduces interference...as i researched it i found this site

it is technically referred to as a ferrite bead as discussed here
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferrite_bead
SE needs to strengthen their cables, most of their cable that come with the phone dont last long

I was using my DCU60 cable I got with my W800 for 3 years.
Actually my dad is still using it. I switched to DCU65 (from my p1). Haven't any problems with cables at all. You just need to be careful with it and it's going to stay alive.

According to Sony Ericsson the DCU-65 is meant to be a faster improved version of the DCU-60.

So it IS "faster" version with no noticeable difference in speed.
