Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum and hence unsure if I am posting my issue in the right community. If I am not, Please do guide me in the right direction.

I have a SE W700i and here are the issues

1> The phone's display light wouldnt turn off while I am on a call. This is very annoying! I searche dgoogle but couldn't find a solution.
2> When i use SE update service I get a message "Identification failed, disconnect phone and click "back to start" "

I removed software and re-installed. Now I am stuck at image below


If I kill the process and restart , it either loops back to start application or gives me the the above message ( as in 2>)

Need help please!

Would be great if someone could help me with this.

Is there anyway I could update the sound and camera drivers. I am not really familiar with FAR and its usage.

maybe your phone is brown .
if your phone is brown the you cant update it and u must first convert it to
red and then update it .

The phone's light turning off is a power-saving feature and not something you can disable. On some models you might be able to change the amount of time before it dims or shuts off, that's about it.

Sounds like you need a re-flash with somebody like DaVinci Team. There's a lot of good info on their site even if you don't use them for flashing. If you can't get your phone out of that screen you need to pull out the battery to completely kill whatever is going on.

Rambo 47: Issue is that phone's light does not Turn off, if it turned off, I wouldnt be as annoyed! My phone's working phine but I just can't seme to find a way to upgrade firmware myself. I think I would nee dto go the the SE workshop and ofr sure they would charge me a few hundred for the upgrade
