> K550i standby blank screen
Bookmark topic
Just got my new SE K550, great phone and happy with it, however does anyone know how to get the clock/phone status to show up in standby mode. On other SE's and Nokia's there is a handy feature which changes the standby screen to show a missed call or SMS. On the K550 the only way I can see is by pressing the volume control. This is ANNOYING, if I am away from my desk momentarily when I return I have to press the button to see if I have missed anything, if I dont I am none the wiser of a call for hours! Any ideas anyone, just seems weird that all other Sony phones do it and this one just shows a blank screen!

From your replies, it would seem I am talking about "sleep" mode and not "standby". Thanks for the responses but there is no sleep mode on the K550, anyone know of a software update to allow this.
