Hi!
Just received my w880i and the first impression is fantastic!!
The phone is very solid and well built!
Although, need you, w880 owners to clarify this for me:
In the front panel, the keys are grouped in columns, and there's a panel (that constitutes those columns) where the numbers and characters are imprinted.
Notice the gaps between these "columns" and the front panel itself.
Do these gaps get slightly wider when you press the keys phones, letting you see a little more of that key background light?
This happens because the panels that constitutes the so called "columns" suffer some depression when a key is pressed.
This is noticeable in dim light conditions, and is just a slight situation I need you to test, so I can be perfectly safe about this being perfectly normal.
Sorry to be so picky, but i normally am veri very cautious with my pones, and need your opinions.
It seems perfectly normal to me, as all keys I press have this effect!
Regards

I don't have the w880 buy the build quality of

esp. the keys etc. is sometimes cheap (low quality).
That's what made in China does
(I had gaps on my w800 and also on my k800)

Hi!
The question is not being cheap or having bad construction quality... I thinks this is absolutely normal, all the phone seems very solid...
About the w880 thread, I thinks there's no info about the question I asked...
Anyone?
Regards,

i have a k800 with these so called gaps between the keys. after 5 months of heavy usage, i can tell you that no, the gaps does not widen. so don't think it would happen with the w880 as well.
