I have a P990i from Orange which I would like to unlock.
Can someone advise me the best way?

Well, Orange will Unlock it for £20 although it does take 7-14 days and apparently if I go to Carphone Warehouse they will remove the branding for free....

Yes, you are right.....I went to carphone warehouse and they didn't have a clue what I was talking about!
I'm just wondering how can Orange CS tell me to go there and then even tell me that it's a free service they do on behalf of Orange.
When I questioned this as being strange, she assured me that they have some agreement with them.
Where do they get off talking such crap!
Also, don't you think this is a complete waste of money on Orange's part making new software for all these phones and then having to maintain them.......when it doesn't seem to add anything beneficial.
