OK, before everyone yells.. NO !!!
This is what I'm after ..
I've got Sony DR-BT20NX Bluetooth Stereo Headphones and they are GREAT
BUT
I want to listen to MP3s with the Bluetooth headset, however, in Flight mode Bluetooth is disabled and in Normal mode every call I receive interrupts MP3 playback, which is getting VERY annoying ...
So, is there any way to either enable Bluetooth in Flight mode or
stop any and all calls/txts from interrupting mp3 playback .. ?
Over to you experts,
Thanks,
Phil
ps: before you start, please do not lecture me on what Flight mode is for .. I know what it's for.. I just want a solution to uninterrupted MP3 playback on the K800i (which I love by the way).. Ta

You cannot use bluetooth at all when in flight mode.
If you dont want to recieve phonecalls then you can go into settings/calls/managae calls/accept calls and set it to none. It will automatically reject all phone calls

as a point of interest, some recent SE phones let you turn BT on in flight mode after giving you a warning first.
W880 is one and I vaguelly recall the W950 with latest firmware does too

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the info.
I tried the barring all calls and that made a difference. When a call is received a message pops up on th screen saying, incoming call busy tone sent and the music dips for a second. That's better than being interrupted!
To me it seems strange that all these manufacturers make stereo bluetooth headsets that can't be used when you just want to listen to music quietly, especially since SONY market a whole range of their phones as Walkmans.
I assume they expect you to buy two sets of headphones and carry them around with you all the time.
Mmmm ...
I'm interested in the idea that BT could beturned on with a warning in flight mode.
Let's face it.. you spend 99.9999% of your life not sitting on a plane .. and flight mode is great because you don't get any call interruptions.
Since phones are fast becoming integrated portable multimedia devices it seems to me that SONY need to have a new setting
Quiet mode ... phone calls off, all other multimedia settings on.
Thanks,
Phil

I think flight mode is the wrong name really.
I prefer what Nokia call it on the N95. They call it offline mode which is a more general term.
You can still turn on BT and you still get a warning.
Strangely, you can also turn wifi on but you don't get a warning for that and yet wifi has a longer range (and therefore presumably greater possible interference) than most BT

That's weird. I can turn on bluetooth in flight mode on my K790a. It just warns me.
