HAHAHAHAHAHAHA is all i can say...

I wonder if she thinks it's hot!

Paris jailed!
Well, we never really thought it would come to this - but it just goes to show how wrong you can be, eh? Paris Hilton has been sentenced to 45 days in prison, having been found guilty of violating her probation for a drink-driving conviction. The hotel heiress continued her habit of being "fashionably late" for high-profile events by turning up to the Los Angeles Superior Court 10 minutes after she was supposed to be there. Looking understandably solemn, she wore a sober grey suit and was accompanied by her mum Kathy.

During her testimony, Paris blamed her violation on her long-suffering rep Elliot Mintz, telling the court he'd misled her into believing her license was valid (oops - there goes your Christmas bonus, Elliot). However, after careful consideration, the judge ruled she must serve the maximum sentence for her crime - with no prospect of an early release. A tearful Paris told the courtroom: "I'm very sorry and from now on I'm going to pay complete attention to everything." Meanwhile, Kathy, who'd earlier laughed out loud when the demand was made for a custodial sentence, screamed at the prosecutor: "You're pathetic!" And as she left the courtroom, Kathy was heard muttering: "I can't believe all the money we spent on this." Yeah, thanks for that, mum.

Paris is now out on bail until her sentence begins on June 5. She's expected to be sent to the Century Regional Detention Facility in California. Those in the know say she'll be segregated from the rest of the prisoners "for her own safety" - and be allowed just one hour a day to shower, exercise, watch TV or talk on the phone. Apparently, prisoners wear one of four different-coloured jumpsuits, depending on how they are classified. Those colour options in full? Blue, brown, white or orange. Oooh - which is it going to be, Paris?

she is though a high profile celeb, wether we like it or not. she got the maximum sentence for such an act..

a month to pack her bags is pointless anyway...

your only allowed to take certain things into prison, I'm sure there won't be any leeway on that one..

I'm glad they have made an example of her, it really pisses me off
when celeb's get away with being irresponsible, how much money have we as a taxpayer wasted on Pete Doherty, how many slaps on the wrist's is he gonna get before he gets put away?

I think the experience for Paris inside the JAIL will just be very EASY to her . . . considering all those stunt that they (with Nicole Ritchie) are doin' in their show . . . I hope that my CRUSH and IDOL - Lindsay Lohan will NOT follow suit !

I'll bet you anything, that as soon as she has served her sentence, she will:

A. Appear on all the chatshows talking about her "hell in prison" experience, boohoo etc.

B. Publish a book about her "experience" (ofcourse ghost-written)

She may be thick, but she is very good (inadvertantly, i suspect) at generating publicity and making money. I'm sure she'll walk away from her prison "ordeal" with a couple more millions...
