if I have understood what you want correctly you need only install the Sony Ericsson Update Service as usual then right click on the desktop icon for it, choose properties, compatibility and set it to windows XP SP2 or windows 2000 compatibility mode

works fine for me

Use the normal usb flash drivers (ggsemc). They work fine for me under vista.

Install these:http://www.wotanserver.com/USBFlashDriver.exe

Take out the battery of the phone and put it back in. Dont switch on the phone. Hold C and plug in the cable. Vista for me automatically installed the drivers but if it doesnt, point it to look in C:\\USBFlashDriver for the drivers.
