Hi guys!
I am new and been trawling around but am still confused! I have wanted a P990i for so long but been waiting 'til it's stable. Just wondering whether I waited too long and if I should now jump ship to the N95, wait for the P700 or just go ahead and get the P990i?

Please Help!

Hi and welcome.

yeah should defiantley go for the N95 but if you wait then something else might come out before then

if you can't wait may I suggest you get a K810i as it's cheaper and im sure you will love it in the longrun

@MissUK- Thanks! Much appreciated! Am worried about the build quality of the N95 though. It seems to be quite an issue!

I would go for the N73 if you are on a tight budget, because after the N95 it is one of the best handsets ever.

there will NEVER be a correct answer. you and any one buying a phone should not just ask which phone should they get without telling what are they going to use the phone for.
if you need a keyboard or not, if you use touch scren or not, if you looking to spend less money or go high end...
i have a P990i. It fits my needs. I have seen the N95. As much as I would like to get it because of it's features, I am not, due to the lack of features I need. so. this is an open question.

just read here http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=135217 to see how may opinions are there.

It depends what your after, i personally could not live with out a touch screen phone.....There is nothing else other than the ipod phone that interests me having used the tytn and wasnt impressed with it. As for stability issues i dont have a problem at all with mine, it has not crashed once since my last update a few months ago. The phone is brilliant the only downside is lack of apps and games and the already way outdated camera.

yeah there are some that have wobbly sliders, not to mention the ones which whine which is most of them from what ive seen.

N95 is a great phone but if you do more than make calls and text then take your charger with you to work or wherever you need to go as the battery is bad.

I'm sorry but this battery life issue is utter nonesense

I'm running 2 N95's in parallel at present and have put my M600 aside.

everywhere I go I am doing a GPS lock on both, downloading maps via tmobile, browsing various sites, regular email downloads, trying to listen to music, watch video and listen to podcasts equally on both.

At the end of the day (I'm now on my 3rd day of this) I see at least 50% battery life left.

I'm working these hard besides what I have said above and I feel I can be satisfied since my only expectation is to last a full day, with some reserve, as I charge my phones every day regardless

mine is by no means a scientific test but I feel its more a realistic test for my useage + probably 25% more than I would normally do and stil I feelo happyl

I went home to Australia 2 weeks ago and bought a second battery prior to that expecting to use that during the flight, I watched a whole load of music videos, listen to several pod casts, wrote about 6 emails, etc etc and still arrived in Sydney with plenty of power to call my wife to let her know I had arrived. Because of this I tried alot more on thre return trip and still didn't use the 2nd battery until about an hour before landing.

You surely cannot be unhappy with the battery performance of this device
