> To use Vodafone W900i in India

Just now I received a w900i from my friend who is in UK. It is a W900i a Vodafone Integrated... It had a Vodafone SIM Card also. But when I inserted my local SIM Card (AIRTEL) in India, it says "Invalid SIM"
How to use this phone in India. Is there any settings that I need to configure ?
Please help regarding this........

it seems its not an unlocked fone, when it says : invalid sim. visit a mobile shop in your near and get it unlocked.
