Hey Guys,
Been looking for a Job for quite a while now and until one decides they want to employ me I think I better get back onto Agencys.
Thing is which agencys bother to keep you in work the longest?
and which ones when you get laidoff are quick to get you a job the next day?
any around?
Been with Pertemps (Pants)
been with (Best Connection) Ok... but take ages to get a Job!
Been with (Ideal Employment) there about the same
does anyone know anymore that are better then these lot?

Everyone has a different experience.
There are many agencies out there small or big. Its not the name of the company that is important, it the people working within that particular office.
I have been in recruitment for 5+ years, and people that come to my office by word of mouth not because its a big name company.
And if i got paid a pound for everytime i hear they are rubbish or they didnt help..then i would be rich.
You need to go with the company you feel represents you and you feel comfortable with.
Remember the Rec Consultants are what the name suggests. They are there to consult and its not just down to them to help you find a job, its down to both parties...You need to have an idea of what you would like to do it and set some goals in motion that you can achieve...things like £'s Salary, Hours, Holidays etc....
Sorry to harp on but the candidate needs to help themselves aswell.
And to answer your question directly, go and see the Rec Agencies and talk to them, then decide which ones to work with. All agecnies are client driven and some may or may not cater for your needs. Some are Perm Role Criven, some are more Temp driven

in no particular order:
Monster
fish4
Addeco
Reed
Manpower
etc
The trick is to keep buggin them every day and if you really need a job, dont limit yourself, keep your limits to a minimum. ie as long as its over £X per hour and is within X miles of 'town' i'll be interested.

Whilst Batesie has given some good leads, bugging a consultant does not guarantee your success. Bear in mind, they might not have roles that suit you! And therefore if that is the case, then bugging them wont change that...
