My P990i connects fine to my router at home. It will also scan and connect to the hotspots provided by Statbucks etc. The problem is that when I start the browser and attempt to go to any web page I get the " "cannot locate remote server" message.
I cannot figure out what is going on. Does anyone have any ideas? I have the latest (April 10th) firmware.
Thanks,
Daniel

Some routers do not like the "power saving" option in the advanced connection settings. Turn this off and it should work.
Same thing being discussed here:

Maybe be related in a connection issue sort of way but, if i want to use Opera thru gprs i have to start the web function first to get connected then start opera, then i dont get the error message and get connected fine.
I have only wified at home so dont know about hot spotting.

Thanks.
The solution turned out to be to create a new connection rather than rely on "default."
Hope this helps else.
