hi all,
i am have searched thru lots of posts but cant find an answer to my problem, hope you guys can help........
i bought a z610i off ebay, it is on the '3' network.
it worked fine to begin with (for a couple of days) then suddenly developed a problem. The phone loads up, gets to the 'enter PIN screen' then (after entering the PIN for my SIM correctly) goes to the SE logo then shuts off. it does this everytime i try to get into the phone. i tried the SIM in another '3' phone and it works fine.
if, at the first screen, i enter 'flight mode' the phone seems to work fine (apart from make calls etc).
i am worried that the phone might be stolen or something, maybe '3' have shut the phone down remotely - dunno if they can do this. anyway i tried to speak to the guy on ebay and he hasnt replied....... am i stuck with a nice looking paper weight?
i have read lots of posts about hardware and other software and dont really understand it, so if anyone has any ideas i need an idiots guide (imagine you were explaining it to your mum!).
i appreciate any help you can give me.

Try turning the option 'pin code request' off... and if there is any other security option on, turn it off...
