> w810i number underneath network name?

ok on my w810i, i just had it unlocked and i debranded it, and sometimes it says on the desktop 'Vodafone Uk' and underneath '01535' which happens to be my area code so i prosume its that
but why do i get this, and is there a way to remove it easily cos i dont think it happened b4?

EDIT:ugh info for cell information says:
recieve messages sent out by ur network operator.
although i turned this off and it seemed to o away lol

go to messages, then the last tab on messages which is settings. you can find the area info tab in there. see if your 'reception' and 'cell information' is set to on or off?
i think what it means by 'messages sent by operator' is the area cell reception messages. if it goes away, then good. I don't think it does anything else, I don't even have it on in my phone.

for my country, certain network operators have the features enabled although most don't. for those with it, the area code won't show up as a number, instead it would specify the exact area you're at using the nearest cell broadcast tower as a reference, i.e. KL central. might not be exactly accurate as GPS, but good enough for some.
