> Can't Sync W810i using Bluetooth - HELP!
Bookmark topic
Hello,
I have a problem that I need some technical advice on. I have exhausted all of the obvious things so I need the advice of an expert. I love my Sony Ericsson W810i phone and sync it to my outlook contacts, notes, etc. on my laptop.
This works fine with with USB cable. I recently installed Bluetooth on my laptop and want to sync using Bluetooth instead of the cable. The Blue tooth transfer of files like pictures and video works just fine with the phone and laptop recognizing each other no problem.
But I can not get the sync application (Sony Ericsson PC Suite) to recognize the phone. I click on the “How To Connect” icon, I select Bluetooth and proceed to the next screen where it is supposed to recognize my phone. But it does not find the phone at all. This is weird because I know that the laptop and the phone find each other just fine outside of this application.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Try My Phone Explorer.

It synchs everything with outlook except notes. It's a shame about notes, but it does everything else reliably and trouble free, where as PC Suite is a pile of crap (in my view it comes down to the design of mobile monitor)
