Just tried to do a SEUS update for the first time in a while, and it updated to SEUS v2.7.5.5 which has a new interface...

The phone never connected and now it does not even turn on, just several red flashes of the LED...

Any ideas?

Got the same problem last night with my K800.
SEUS downloaded an update.
I plugged my phone, it said there was no new firmware for my phone and since then I haven't been able to turn it on. All I got was a blank screen when I tried to charge it.

I dropped it a Carphone warehouse service center.

I followed the remove battery thing, during the update and after to try and get working again...

Windows at no stage acknowledge the phone was connected as far as I could tell....

I only get the flashing LED, no display lights up.

I am a Mac user and have to lower myself to Windows to do these updates as it is, then it buggers my phone up...

BTW it was a clean install of XP Home SP2.

Looks like service center for me too

I couldn't even install that version of SEUS. I just formated my PC and installed new Windows XP Black Edition on it. Then I downloaded the newest version of SEUS and I get error something like this: Failed checking application versions. Download the latest version or reinstall... and etc... What could be the problem? The java? The adobe - flash plugin?

The solution for that is to go in the proprerties of the exe file (right-click on app, go to propoerties), and then go to the compatibility tab and choose Win98 compatibility mode. It should work and once it's up and running, you can put it back to normal mode.

Don't know if it's clear but it works.

OK here's what I'd do: charge battery to the 100% (or better still, use 100% charged from another compatibel phone, eg 750i) and replace yours for the time of update. Then proceed with updating from square 1 following usual procedures. It worked in my case (610i, while everyone seemed to say: "go servicing").
