I've been lucky enough to test the upcoming P1i for a while - however it's an "acceptance unit" so it doesn't have the final fw version

Unfortunately I couldn't keep it long enough to make a proper review or try all features - but i did took a lot of pictures which I've posted on my blog: MobileGathering.

My first impressions:

- slim and light - especially if compared to P990i
- feels more like an improved M600i to be honest
- If you've used a P990i or M600i then you'll be familiar with the P1
- better camera. No xenon flash unfortunately.
- faster in menues and when switching between applications.

Read my preview here and enjoy my photos!

Thanks for the help masseur!

Yes, I have posted 12-13 pictures in my preview, I took some more but they were too blurry... However - when I get my hands on that P1 again I'll take more pictures and post a more in-depth review!

if I may answer that... no its not. MARC_SE and myself took a look at that today at the SE shop and its one of two negative points of the design that we had. The other was the indented return button

thanks, masseur. just thought for a moment there that it might screw in or something to the side. you're right anyway, think it's a horrid bugger. shiny too, at that.

Is the screen display area of P1 smaller than N95? It seems to look that way in the picture in the review. I must say the P1 is quite a wide phone. And it dont look that much thinner too.
